## Questions

### Does my Huawei phone support eSIM?

12 Huawei models are on our eSIM compatibility list; find yours in the list above. If it is not there, dial *#06# on the device: if an EID number appears, it has an eSIM chip. Some models sold in certain regions ship without eSIM even when the same model supports it elsewhere, so check the exact model you own.

### Does my Huawei phone need to be unlocked to use a travel eSIM?

Yes. A device locked to a carrier may refuse an eSIM from another provider. A device bought unlocked is not affected, and the carrier that sold a locked device can unlock it.

### How do I install an eSIM on my Huawei phone?

Install the eSIM while you have Wi-Fi by scanning the QR code from the order email, or by entering the details by hand. The Android setup guide shows each step.

### Can I keep my number while I use a travel eSIM on my Huawei phone?

Yes, on devices that support two lines at once: your own SIM keeps your number for calls and texts while the travel eSIM carries the mobile data.
