Yes! Most modern devices support dual SIM (physical + eSIM):
- Keep your primary number - Physical SIM for calls and texts
- Use eSIM for data - Travel plan for internet access
- Switch easily - Choose which line to use for data
- Receive calls on both - Both lines can be active simultaneously
Troubleshooting
Try these solutions in order:
- Check internet connection - Ensure strong WiFi or cellular connection
- Restart your device - Turn off and on again
- Check the QR code - Ensure it's not damaged or blurry
- Try manual entry - Use activation details instead of QR code
- Wait and retry - Sometimes network delays occur
Check these settings:
- Enable the eSIM line - Go to Settings > Cellular and turn on your eSIM
- Set as data line - Choose eSIM for cellular data in settings
- Enable data roaming - Turn on data roaming for the eSIM line
- Check coverage area - Ensure you're in a covered region
- Restart device - Sometimes a reboot fixes connection issues
Data speeds can vary based on several factors:
- Network congestion - Peak hours may have slower speeds
- Location - Rural areas typically have slower speeds than cities
- Network priority - eSIM users may have lower priority than local subscribers
- Device position - Try moving to a window or higher floor
Speed optimization tips:
- Enable 5G if available in your area
- Close background apps using data
- Try different times of day
- Check if you've exceeded high-speed data limits

Technical Questions
Storage and active limits vary by device:
📱 iPhone
- Store: Up to 8 eSIM profiles
- Active: 2 lines simultaneously (1 physical + 1 eSIM or 2 eSIMs on iPhone 13+)
- Switch: Easy switching between stored profiles
📱 Android
- Store: Varies by manufacturer (typically 5-10)
- Active: Usually 1-2 lines simultaneously
- Management: Through device settings
⚠️ Warning: One-time use only
Each eSIM QR code can only be used once. If you delete an eSIM from your device, you cannot reinstall it using the same QR code.
What happens when you delete:
- Permanent removal - The eSIM profile is completely removed
- Cannot restore - You'll need to purchase a new eSIM
- Data is lost - Any remaining data allowance is forfeited
Alternatives to deletion:
- Disable instead - Turn off the line without deleting
- Keep for future use - Some plans allow reactivation
Usually no configuration needed:
- Automatic setup - Most eSIMs configure APN settings automatically
- Pre-configured - Network settings are included in the eSIM profile
- Plug and play - Just install and connect
When manual configuration might be needed:
- Older device models
- Custom carrier requirements
- Specific network optimizations
